The World of Alias Grace: Tea and Talk

Date:
April 28, 2:00 4:00 pm

From Issue No. 268 | April 23, 2018

Join us at Gibson House Museum as we explore the world of Grace Marks, featured in Margaret Atwood's novel Alias Grace, through this last presentation in our Saturday afternoon Tea & Talk series in our historic 1851 farmhouse.

Local history expert George Duncan will take us on a journey through the architecture and development of Toronto and surrounding settlements, including Richmond Hill. The discussion will be followed by tea and refreshments, inspired by both food mentioned in the book and nineteenth-century recipes.

Tickets, $25+ HST per person per event, are available online http://gibsonhousemuseum.streamintickets.com
