Canada's North Design Office, gh3 and the Office for Urbanism investigate the complexities of urban design in Toronto through ideas and practices in Harbourfront Centre’s newly established space devoted to architecture. The exhibition also features an essay by internationally known novelist Lewis DeSoto.
With the opening of "Public Space", the Harbourfront Centre launches Toronto's new space devoted to contemporary architecture. The venue will present exhibitions which educate and question the prevailing thoughts, ideas and practices informing contemporary architecture. Exhibitions will investigate a proposed idea, and be organized as a debate and/or dialogue between exhibiting firms through the use of constructed models, built forms/objects, printed images, new media and mixed media.
