The Collingwood Heritage Conference Committee is pleased to announce
the latest additions to the 2008 Heritage Conference program:

Brownfield Redux by Joe Lobko. A presentation of the design of the
Wychwood Green Arts Barns project (for Toronto Artscape), and
Evergreen Brick Works, two adaptive re-use projects bringing new life
and a focus on sustainability to a pair of important Toronto
industrial landmarks. Joe Lobko is a Toronto architect and principal
of du Toit Allsopp Hillier/du Toit Architects.

Ministry of Culture will be doing a presentation on Heritage Property
Tax Relief (HPTR) and Adaptive Re-use.
Ministry speaker, Paul King,
will give an update on the program; guest speaker (Sue Schappert from
Peterborough) will explore adaptive re-use success stories using the
HPTR program.

The 2008 Heritage Conservation Conference takes place in Downtown
Collingwood on May 30 to June 1, 2008.
