Coach House Books 2008 Fall Launch

Place:
Stones Place, 1255 Queen Street West
Date:
Thursday, October 9, 2008
Time:
Doors at 8:00 p.m.

From Issue No. 127 | October 07, 2008

Just a final reminder that this Thursday, bookish party people (or is that 'partyish book people') will take over Toronto's Stones Place (1255 Queen Street West) for the Coach House Books 2008 Fall Launch. We hope you'll join us as we engage our thrusters (sounds dirtier than it actually is) and unleash our new fall fiction, poetry and drama titles.

Expect much merriment and short readings from Mike Hoolboom (The Steve Machine), Michael Blouin (Chase & Haven), Margaret Christakos (What Stirs), Jeramy Dodds (Crabwise to the Hounds), Kyle Buckley (The Laundromat Essay) and Andrew Shaver (reading from Darren O'Donnell's [boxhead]).

And apologies to our Jewish friends. We understand our launch falls right at the end of Yom Kippur, and are truly sorry about the conflict.

We're going to get tore up from the floor up. Tell your friends!

Featuring readings by Mike Hoolboom, Michael Blouin, Margaret Christakos, Jeramy Dodds, Kyle Buckley and Andrew Shaver (for Darren O'Donnell)
