Toronto's changing roles -- from military base to manufacturing, financial, and cultural centre -- have shaped the city's built form and will be explored through this illustrated lecture series. There'll also be discussions of urban planning approaches and the waterfront. One session will be a walking tour. (Non-credit; no assignments or tests.)
