From Issue No. 176 | May 03, 2011

It's cracked, it's sagging, the thought has run through your mind to just rip it all out and start over again. The sad statistic of coming to this decision has condemned plaster walls and ceilings to be torn out for flat uninspired drywall.

Drywall can never replicate plaster with its durability, sound attenuation qualities and fire-proofing. Repairing plaster walls is one of the easiest things to do as well as the most cost efficient way to save the integrity and style of your old house. Mix of plaster, application and crack/sag repair will be explored, in a hands-on environment
