The Friends of Freeman Station (FOFS) will hold a second fundraiser dinner at QB's Sports Grill, 4460 Fairview Street, Wednesday, August 17th, from 6 pm  9 pm.

Tickets are $20.00 and include an Angus steak dinner with a vegetable and potato and choice of beverage. $10 from each ticket will help support the group's efforts to relocate and restore the historic Freeman train station.

Entertainment will include a silent auction, door prizes, and a 50/50 draw. The restaurant also has an arcade for kids. Cogeco Cable will be making a cheque presentation at 7:30.

The Friends of Freeman Station is a non-profit community group whose aim is to locate, restore and preserve the historic Freeman Station for the enjoyment of current and future generations. The Freeman Station, built in 1906 by the Grand Trunk Railway, has been recognized for its architectural and historic significance by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, the Ontario Ministry of Culture and Heritage Burlington.
