Tour Maple Leaf Gardens and Party with TSA

And attend the AGM Toronto Architectural Conservancy

Date:
December 4, 5:00 TAC AGM

December 4,

6:00 to late for TSA tours and Bash

From Issue No. 204 | November 28, 2012

The Toronto Architectural Conservancy, of which I am President, has decided to hold its AGM at a time to allow our members to attend and then go on to join the Toronto Society of Architects Annual Bash party, and tours of Maple Leaf Gardens. So come and find out more about TAC activities, and what we are hoping to do, and join if you want to support the work. Afterwards adjourn to celebrate the conversion of one of Toronto's historic landmarks, Maple Leaf Gardens. I am particularly happy that you can still skate there!

Many people do not know that you do not have to be an architect to be a member of the TSA. To go on the tour of MLG you will need to join TSA, but if you just want to attend the party just buy a ticket. The TSA organizes lots of great events all year long, so your membership will help you participate in lots of great things.

Information, membership, tour and party and ticket sales for TSA http://www.torontosocietyofarchitects.ca.

The Toronto Architectural Conservancy was founded by an architect, Eric Arthur and has since 1933 worked to develop public interest in protection of Toronto's architecture, a closely related organization to the TSA. TAC has been working away quietly researching, writing, and publishing and is enjoying a bit of a renaissance. However we're not big enough yet to hold a big party.

Anyone can attend the TAC AGM, but you must be a member to vote.
