What would the coming of Costco mean to Coca-Cola's iconic Modernist building?
Place:
Jenner Jean-Marie Community Centre
48 Thorncliffe Park Drive
From Issue No. 213 | June 20, 2013
Councillor Parker together with representatives from Costco will attend the community meeting to discuss possible redevelopment of the Coca-Cola site which includes the former Coca-Cola Canada HQ (with sculpture) and bottling plant.
The property at 42,46 Overlea Blvd. was purpose-designed for Coca-Cola Canada by the well-regarded Toronto Architectural firm, Mathers and
Haldenby, and is widely regarded as an excellent example of mid-century Modernist architecture in Toronto.
