This 2-day workshop will address some of the problems encountered in the conservation and restoration of heritage buildings. The target audience includes conservators, heritage architects, conservation managers, and those entrusted with the maintenance of heritage buildings and structures. Day 1 will be devoted to issues concerning wood, cedar shingle roofs, and linseed oil paint, while Day 2 will focus on the conservation and restoration of architectural stone and masonry. Information on presenters and the preliminary workshop program are now available on the website of the Canadaian Association for Conservation.
