A Reason to Go to Havana this Winter

5 Days of Vernacular Architecture

Place:
Havana, Cuba
Date:
25th, 26th, 27th and 28th of February, 2008

From Issue No. 109 | January 09, 2008

The Professorship Gonzalo de Cardenas of Vernacular Architecture, sponsored by the Historian’s Office of the City of Havana and the Diego de Sagredo Foundation of the Technical University of Madrid, has the pleasure of announcing the  5 Days of Vernacular Architecture will be celebrated in Havana on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the birth of the architect Gonzalo de Cardenas y Rodriguez.

As in previous years the theme of the meeting will be Vernacular Architecture and its many manifestations.

Dr. Arch. Daniel M. Taboada

Editors Notes: I received this notice from Ian McGillvary, and have not been able to find the event online. However, others (spanish speaking?) may have better luck.
