The 50th anniversary celebrations of Toronto's iconic civic centre continue with the screening of Finn with an Oyster: The Story Behind Toronto's New City Hall, the new documentary directed by local filmmaker Michael Kainer.

This film explores the international architectural competition for a building that would define the identity of an entire city, one that continues to delight and inspire. In addition, Mr. Kainer will be present for a Q & A session following the film.

The production of this film was supported by the Ontario Arts Council, with Heritage Toronto as a promotional partner.
