This milestone conference is designed to inform, empower and connect the ‘force’ – the people who make their living or volunteer their time researching, restoring, adapting, maintaining and interpreting our environment. An essential event for owners, design professionals, curators, volunteers, real estate agents, tradespeople, grants officers, planners, interpreters, policy makers and administrators.

We invite expressions of interest for workshops, presentations, panel discussions, field sessions and poster sessions on the following themes:
Smart and Solvent Historic Places
For example:
Adaptive re-use and restoration; Branding, communications and marketing; Heritage planning; Economics and Heritage conservation; and Business plans and stewardship.
The Heritage Workforce
For example:
Expert testimony and professional ethics; Education, training and accreditation; and Heritage trades.
Organizations That Work
For example:
Strategic planning for heritage organizations; Advocacy 101; Social marketing and awareness campaigns; Engaging and managing volunteers; and Fundraising and finding financial support.
Chosen presenters will be offered a one-day complementary registration for the day on which they present.
