From Issue No. 247 | January 10, 2016

The inaugural Urban Affairs Forum of 2016 the TSA has invited a diverse group of seasoned and emerging practitioners to answer the question of whether architecture has an inherent civic obligation, and if so, how this responsibility can inspire incredible design, transcend the boundaries of traditional practice, and create a new ethic within the profession in the post-Starchitect era.

Organized in conjunction with the Toronto Offsite Design Festival, this forum seeks to challenge the audience to consider the broad impact design has on the public realm, and in the process reveal the tremendous design potential in designing projects to give back.
